Arma 2 technically is a milsim whilst Arma 3 is listed as a ''Open World Tactical shooter'' BI just couldn't deal with the arma series with ACE outdoing VBS so they shut arma milsim down and gave us star wars instead. I play for milsim so arma 2 has my heart at the moment but fingers crossed ACE3 will redeem ARMA 3 from its loss of milsim identity.
